Maria Zaldivar — our founder, proudly Mexican creative, and scientist — began her career in journalism and marketing, driven by a deep love for writing about sex, relationships, dating, and spice. But over time, she saw how gaps in access, communication, and representation kept communities from accessing sexual healthcare.

That led her to pursue a Master of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Sciences, where she began to dig deeper into the root causes of systemic barriers and how communication, health, and relationships are inextricably linked.

Unbothered Strategies is the natural evolution of that journey. It’s a strategy and communications firm grounded in data and research, designed with empathy, and unapologetically sexy. We work with brands, creators, and change-makers to help them clarify their voice, scale their impact, and build something that actually lasts.
